Chakra
means wheel in Sanskrit .
Chakras are spheroid
energy centres which grow as the physical body develops. There are 7 major ones on the spinal
chakral column of the
human energy body at birth.
On a mature unaware adult , the chakras will be the size of an orange. These will grow to a grapefruit size and eventually become about the size of a basketball.
When ripened, chakras nourish the growth of the stones causing these larger energy storage centres to light up.
The function of a chakra is to move energy up and down the spine as well as to the organs in the area surrounding them.
